Today, we're excited to announce a collaboration that brings that mission to life in a whole new way.

Introducing "Growing the Game"

We've partnered with acclaimed Creative Director Domo Wells and Dead Dirt to create a limited-edition capsule collection that celebrates Black soccer culture through style. This isn't just merch, it's a statement. The "Growing the Game" collection bridges soccer and streetwear to honor the energy, identity, and future of the game in Black communities.

Why "Growing the Game"? Because Black youth remain underrepresented in the sport—a gap driven by limited access, cultural visibility, and cost barriers. Black Star exists to change that by making soccer accessible, inclusive, and inspiring for Black youth. This collection is rooted in that purpose, expanding access, deepening pride, and making soccer feel like home on and off the field.

The Collection

The capsule features three statement pieces that blend Dead Dirt's signature floral design aesthetic with Black Star's bold brand colors over timeless silhouettes:

Rugby Jersey: A 100% cotton jacquard knit jersey with custom embroidery. Unisex and true to size for most men's cuts (size down for a tighter fit, size up for looser).

Knit Tote: A stylish jacquard knit tote with custom embroidery, perfect for carrying gear to the pitch or everyday essentials.

T-Shirt: An oversized, boxy drop-shoulder tee that delivers classic comfort with a vintage heavyweight aesthetic.
